THE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS – 2021 American science fiction action film produced, co-written, and directed by Lana Wachowski.
It is the sequel to The Matrix Revolutions (2003) and the fourth installment in The Matrix film series. Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Lambert Wilson, and Jada Pinkett Smith reprise their roles from previous films in the series, being joined by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Christina Ricci.
In this film reality seems either a physical or mental construct, Mr. Anderson, aka Neo, has to choose to follow the white rabbit once more. If he’s learned anything, it’s that choice, while an illusion, is still the only way out of the Matrix. Neo already knows what he has to do, but what he doesn’t yet know is that the Matrix is stronger, more secure and far more dangerous than ever before.
